The Norman Way
The Norman Way is a heritage trail that runs along the south coast of County Wexford. The Normans first arrived in 1169 when three ships landed at Bannow Bay. It wasn’t long before they infiltrated the rest of the county as more landings took place along the coast. Discover authentic medieval sites in Duncannon and the surrounding areas which will help you to understand the Norman way of life.
The Eurovelo 1 Atlantic Coast Cycling Route
This cycling route actually follows the course of the Norman Way and goes through Duncannon. Many of the sites along the way have bike racks and benches installed at them.
