Saturday 26th July 2025

We’ve got an exciting range of activities planned for this years Duncannon Festival taking place on Saturday 26th July 2025. With ‘treasure’ as its theme, this one-day festival of family fun will celebrate the treasures of the beach, the sea, the environment and our community.

Join our festival partner SEA School, a mobile learning centre for Science, Ecology and the Arts, as they invite you to explore the marine treasures of Duncannon’s rich shoreline diving into our natural surroundings and discovering all kinds of wonderful wildlife along the way.

Seal Rescue Ireland will inspire awareness around protecting marine mammals, with their interactive activities, seal artefacts, and educational materials. Their passionate team love to share their knowledge of seal ecology, their abilities, habitat & the threats they face, in the hope to encourage and promote the benefits of marine conservation, and the protection of our marine life!

Along with our full line up of activities, there will be a great opportunity to sample a wide variety of local foods, beverages, handcrafts and other products at Duncannon Fort during the day. Spend some time in the beautiful historic grounds of Duncannon Fort as you discover the treasure trove of market stalls boasting some of Wexfords finest leading produce.

The grand finale includes an open-air concert on the village green by the hugely popular band, the Controversial All Stars, and a near-shore fireworks display by Rocket Pyrotechnics will finish off the celebrations on a high.
